It is only from Lolly that we have the Milluk word [ wa·pu ] which we also hear from her in the interview segment “Basket”, where she mentions another kind of basket and Swadesh asks about a third kind of basket.  In the interview segment here, Lolly explains that [ wa·pu ] is a smaller kind of, a different kind of fish trap (basket), than [ ʔɪɬə̆n ] ‘eel trap basket’, which we hear from Lolly at the beginning of this interview segment.  It is also only from Lolly that we know of the word [ ʔɪɬə̆n ] ‘eel trap basket’ itself, which we cannot find in the Milluk texts, nor in Jacobs’ slip-file dictionary, as a translation for ‘basket’ of any kind, nor as a translation for ‘fish trap’ of any kind.
